- Tele-counseling Cell has been functioning to provide necessary support for stress management and emotional wellness (06747105371) to the different families affected by the pandemic. Counselling cell has been set up to address the issues associated with stress felt by staff members and students if any
- Medical clinics exist in different districts of the state providing free medical services and aids to the people of the region and is solely managed by KIMS, the medical unit of the University
- The Mega Health Camp with free medicine distribution was held in every block headquarters of the four districts- Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh and Ganjam on first Sunday of every month. The programme was held in 20 blocks of these districts in first phase. Doctors, specialists and para-medical staff from KIMS joined the camp and provided health services. Besides, the mega health camp was also held in district headquarters twice a month. Doctors and specialists with modern medical equipment were available in these health camps
- KIMS becomes the first in eastern India to install a Xenon Chloride Fusion Cardiac Laser Machine, revolutionizing treatment for complex heart diseases. This breakthrough enhances cardiac care quality, reduces stent dependency, and introduces global-standard procedures for challenging cases.

KIIT Marks National Youth Day with Mega Blood Donation Drive
On January 12, 2024, KIIT’s School of Social, Financial and Human Sciences hosted a blood donation camp, collecting over 105 units. Supported by KIMS and led by faculty, staff, and students, the event celebrated youth contribution to society through service.

On 15.01.2024, APRASOCON 2024, the 10th annual meet of Odisha’s Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons.
