Research Centre for Environmental Sustainability & Green Technology (RCESGT)
The Research Centre for Environmental Sustainability & Green Technology (RCESGT) at KIIT Deemed to be University is established as an interdisciplinary research and innovation hub dedicated to advancing sustainable development, environmental protection, and green technologies.
The Centre brings together expertise from diverse disciplines including biotechnology, environmental chemistry, materials science, engineering, and energy systems to address global environmental challenges.
The research centre promotes cutting-edge research, collaborative projects, and policy-oriented studies focused on climate change mitigation, sustainable resource management, renewable energy, environmental monitoring, and green manufacturing technologies.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Centre supports KIIT’s vision of becoming a global leader in sustainability-oriented research and innovation. KIIT has already gained international recognition for its contribution to sustainability and social impact through global university rankings and SDG initiatives.
The Centre also aims to provide a platform for faculty members, researchers, students, and industry partners to collaborate on transformative solutions that promote ecological balance and sustainable development.
