KIIT directly contributes to or is involved with both the national government and the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the region. SDG policy development is the focus of the participation; tasks include problem and challenge identification, policy and strategy development, modelling of possible futures with and without interventions, intervention monitoring and reporting, and enabling adaptive management accruing outcomes in the case of monitorable interventions intended to make a positive contribution.

A: Collaboration with Government Organizations

Working in tandem with the Manipur State Government to promote entrepreneurship as a means of addressing the issues around migration and displacement

The Department of Information Technology (DIT), Govt. of Manipur, and KIIT-Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI), KIIT DU, signed an agreement on January 5, 2022, to establish the Manipur Technology Innovation Hub (MTI-Hub). The hub, a joint initiative under a PPP model, aims to foster entrepreneurship in Manipur. Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Minister of Home and Cooperation, Govt. of India, inaugurated the MTI-Hub virtually, with Shri N. Biren Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur, present. The agreement involves providing a furnished 10,000 sq.ft. space by the Manipur government along with operational support. The collaboration also seeks funding from government agencies like DST, MeiTY, MSME, and BIRAC-DBT. KIIT-TBI, known for its vibrant technology incubation efforts, extends its influence to the East and Northeast regions of India, enabling sustainable platforms. This partnership holds promise for driving innovation and entrepreneurship in Manipur’s evolving landscape.

MoU with National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM) to enhance research focused on Industrial Waste Management

On February 1, 2022, KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) established a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM). The primary aim of this MoU is to foster collaboration and enhance long-term partnership in Research and development between KIIT-DU and NCCBM. The agreement was formally signed by Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice-Chancellor of KIIT-DU, and Dr. Bibekananda Mohapatra, Director General of NCCBM, witnessed by key personnel including Pro-VC, Registrar, and Deans from KIIT-DU. Prof. Samanta highlighted the mutual benefits of this collaboration in academic and research ventures, spanning diverse areas of expertise. Dr. Mohapatra emphasized the potential for joint R&D initiatives focused on industrial waste management and the creation of industry-relevant academic programs.

Collaborative Research Project with National Institute of Virology and World Health Organization to identify poliovirus and related enteroviruses among patients with primary immunodeficiency

The eradication of polio stands as a paramount initiative for the World Health Organization (WHO). In conjunction with the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Mumbai, an essential project has been launched to identify poliovirus and related enteroviruses among patients with primary immunodeficiency. This collaborative endeavor spans 21 esteemed institutions across India, including renowned names like Wadia Hospital Mumbai, PGI Chandigarh, SGPGI Lucknow, and NIMS Hyderabad.On February 17, 2022, a joint delegation from WHO and NIV Mumbai visited KIMS for a comprehensive assessment of site readiness and to provide necessary training. During the visit, the team familiarized themselves with KIMS and KIIT Deemed to be University, assessing both laboratory and hospital facilities. Interactions with Prof. A. K. Praharaj, HOD of Microbiology, and Dr. Raj Kumar Patra, Consultant at the Molecular Lab, were integral to their assessment. Impressed by the arrangements, the team granted KIMS permission to initiate the project, subsequently providing crucial training for the site investigators.This collaborative endeavor reflects a vital step towards enhancing public health and advancing scientific understanding.

MoU with Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti (GSDS) for advancements focusing on Peace and Non-violence

On April 7, 2022, KIIT & KISS entered into a significant partnership by signing a MoU with Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti (GSDS), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The MoU aims to establish a collaborative platform to advance the ideals of Gandhi, focusing on peace, nonviolence, and dialogue through the Gandhi Peace, Nonviolence, and Dialogue Study Centre.

The agreement entails adopting a syllabus on Nonviolent Communication jointly developed by both entities, offering Short-term Certificate Courses to KIIT & KISS students. Professor Deepak Kumar Behera of KISS, highlighted the upcoming World Anthropology Congress and proposed sessions aligned with the theme of peace with GSDS’s support. Mr. Dipanker Shri Gyan, Director of GSDS, commended KIIT & KISS’s developmental work and stressed the importance of nonviolent communication in curbing societal issues. Dr. Vedavyas Kundu, Programme Officer at GSDS, elaborated on the organization’s various centers, emphasizing conflict resolution and global citizenship education. This MoU signifies a promising alliance dedicated to Gandhian principles for positive societal transformation.

Partnership with Indian Institute of Bio-social Research and Development (IBRAD) to foster holistic growth and empowerment of tribal communities

KIIT & KISS and the Indian Institute of Bio-social Research and Development (IBRAD), an esteemed Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Tribal Development under the Ministry of Tribal Development, Kolkata, joined hands on July 6, 2022, by signing an MoU. This strategic collaboration aims to foster multifaceted cooperation in several key areas. The partnership encompasses the organization of residential training programs, collaborative research and field activities, and hosting national and international seminars, symposia, and conferences on shared interests. It further includes the exchange of human resources, facilitating short-term internships for specific assignments, and the mutual exchange of e-resources, audio-visuals, and documentary videos.One of the remarkable goals is the successful organization of the World Anthropology Congress in 2023. Additionally, the institutions plan to establish a mini tribal museum at KIIT & KISS and community museums at village levels, with a special focus on Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), leveraging the support of IBRAD. This MoU underscores the commitment of both KIIT & KISS and IBRAD to collaborate comprehensively in academic, research, and community development endeavors, collectively contributing to the holistic growth and empowerment of tribal communities while preserving their heritage.

KIIT Conferred Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2022 Award from Honourable President of India Smt. Draupadi Murmu

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) received the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2022, presented by Honourable President of India Smt. Draupadi Murmu to Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the Founder of KIIT and KISS. This award recognizes KIIT’s dedicated efforts in promoting sports and sports-related infrastructure since its establishment.

Over the past two decades, KIIT has made significant contributions to the promotion of sports, including providing education and training to numerous athletes. The university has nurtured Olympians like Dutee Chand, CA Bhavani Devi, Shivpal Singh, and Amit Rohidas. Involvement with the Indian Council of Social Science and Research (ICSSR), Government of India

ICSSR was established in 1969 by Government of India to promote research in social sciences in the country which has led to SDG policy development in the national context. Few of the KIIT’s themed based research are to Improve Agriculture, Groundwater Quality, and Women’s Well-Being and create a more sustainable and equitable future for the region. By maximising nitrogen utilisation, the Nitrogen Management in Agriculture initiative aims to reduce fertiliser costs and increase the use of natural resources. This provides a route to healthier and more successful farming methods throughout South Asia. The Anthropogenic and Geogenic Contamination of Groundwater in Bhubaneswar Urban Catchment Project investigates how waste disposal, population expansion, and industrialisation affect groundwater quality, and the results will help guide government policy regarding the preservation of groundwater resources. The Swachh Bharat Mission’s initiative in Odisha, “Relationship between Household Sanitation and Women’s Experience of Menstrual Hygiene,” focuses on the crucial connection between menstrual hygiene and household sanitation in underdeveloped areas. The findings offer insightful information to decision-makers, thereby promoting women’s economic empowerment and well-being.

KIIT-Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI) has been recognized as a Centre for Augmenting War with COVID-19 Health Crisis (CAWACH) under Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India (Sanctioned amount: 56 Crores INR).   2. “SASACT” (Scheme for Accelerating Startups around Post COVID Technology Opportunities) scheme for accelerating start-ups around post COVID Technology opportunities approved by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. SASACT initiative is part of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s (MeitY’s) measures to respond to today’s changing environment and reiterating the need and importance of quick and reliable technology solutions in accordance with local needs. SASACT envisages supporting electronics hardware/ ICT based tech startups for developing or re-purposing technologies, tools, systems, solutions to respond to the post COVID-19 scenario with action areas identified as smart/ digital manufacturing including 3D printing, Digital health/ Medtech, Edutech, Fintech, Work From Home (WFH) and other solutions deemed fit for post Covid-19 world. Revised and reintroduced in 2020, the National Education Policy is the first education policy of the 21st century and aims to address the many growing developmental imperatives of our country. KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) and IndoAsia Copper Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kiri Industries Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration on various aspects of industrial R&D activities on 16th August 2022. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University outlined the achievements of the University. Prof. Benu Gopal Mohapatra, Director, Consultancy Services highlighted the possible areas of mutual collaboration. Collaboration with Indian Accounting Association (IAA) for research on socio-economic growth of the backward communities

The School of Tribal Resource Management, under the aegis of KIIT & KISS and Indian Accounting Association, Bhubaneswar Branch, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on17th August 2022. This collaboration relates to the key areas of joint research including publications and activities between students and staff; jointly undertaking academic and research work on issues relating to socioeconomic exclusions, deprivations and inclusive growth of tribal and other backward communities, etc. The signing ceremony was graced by Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Dr. Rabindra Kumar Swain, Secretary, Indian Accounting Association (IAA), Bhubaneswar Branch. Partnership with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to setup an Incubation Centre for enhancing economic sustainability skills among students

The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS)  and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Kolkata signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 17th September 2022 to launch a series of initiatives for the educational enrichment of KIIT & KISS students. Expressing happiness over the agreement, CMA Raju Iyer, President,Indian Accounting Association informed that an Incubation Centre will be set up for the students very soon. While suggesting various courses for students and outlining the benefits of programmes like ‘Train the Trainers’, he said, ten students will get free scholarships to pursue courses and Articleship based on their merit and performances. Speaking on the occasion, Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, KISS outlined the importance of value-added activities that the students can get from this collaboration and ultimately enhance their knowledge and skills as per the needs of the market. CMA Niranjan Mishra, Central Council Member, ICAI spoke on the topic ‘Forensic Accounting: Regulations against Fraudulent Shells’. The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS)  and The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), Kolkata signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 19th September 2022 to initiate joint academic and research work on areas of exclusion and deprivations. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Ajay Pathak, Director, IBS stated that KIIT & KISS is one of the most significant institutions and expressed his happiness over the collaboration. Several activities, events, and courses for the students as well as training programs for the teachers will be initiated under the agreement, he assured. Partnership with the National Building Constructions Corporation (NBCC) for skill development and training programs for the marginalized and the economically disadvantaged students

KIIT Deemed-to-be-University has solidified a significant partnership with the National Building Constructions Corporation (NBCC) aimed at equipping students from both KIIT and KIIT & KISS with industry-relevant skills. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the Founder of KIIT-KISS, and NBCC’s GM HR, Debasis Satapathy. Under the terms of the MoU, KIIT and KIIT & KISS students, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds such as SC/ST and economically disadvantaged sections, will receive skill development and industry-focused internship training. Dr. Samanta also urged NBCC to consider establishing a research facility on the KIIT campus, emphasizing KIIT’s remarkable growth and its high national and international rankings. NBCC’s GM hailed KIIT’s global recognition and highlighted the opportunity for students from both institutions to gain exposure by visiting NBCC project sites beyond the state. In a separate agreement, NBCC signed an MoU with the Kandhamal district administration to contribute to the construction and renovation of Community Health Centers (CHCs) as part of various social welfare initiatives. Dr. Samanta, also an MP representing Kandhamal in the Lok Sabha, commended the district’s outstanding progress across socio-economic parameters, ranking 9th among all aspirational districts in India. The MoU for the district was signed by Kandhamal CDMO Dr. Manoj Kumar Upadhyaya. This collaboration signifies a significant step towards empowering students and promoting community welfare.

The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, School of Law, KIIT in association with Vishwaneedam Center for Asian Blossoming, Puducherry and Chennai, organized an International Webinar “Rethinking and Transforming Public Policy: The Challenges of Ethics, Aesthetics and Responsibility” on 7th May 2021. The webinar underscored the importance of the topic and highlighted the role of public policy in the governance process. It also emphasized the philosophical thought of public policy and tried to connect with contemporary public policy management (SDG 8, 9, 10, 11, 16)At the Inaugural Session, the key speaker Prof. John Robert Clammer, Professor, Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, O. P. Jindal Global University/Kyoto University spoke on “Aesthetics and/as Policy: Cultural Rights and the Quality of the Public Environment”, while Mr. Carlos Alvarez Pereira, The Club of Rome, Member-Advisory Boards of UNESCO Chair of Global Understanding for Sustainability, University of Jena, Germany discussed the topic, “A Relational Approach to Political Economy and Public Policy: Making Sense of what we know, towards a Society of Living”. Prof. (Dr.) Gianluigi Segalerba, University of Vienna, Austria emphasized the need of a new model public policy that consists in the uncovering of particular forms of deception strategies present in the political and social scene, while Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Sharma, Professor, Indus Business Academy gave importance on harmonic globalization and public policy. More than 100 students and scholars across India and abroad participated at this International Webinar.

The second International Conference on Sustainability and Equity (ICSE-2021) was inaugurated on 17th December 2021 virtually by Prof. (Dr.) Sasmita Samanta, Pro Vice-Chancellor, KIIT (Deemed to be University) in the presence of Prof. Gyoo-Soo Chae, Baekseok University, Cheonan, South Korea and Prof. H. The 1st World Leadership Convention on ‘World is One,’ held on February 5, 2022, was a collaborative effort between the World Leadership Academy (WLA) and KIIT DU. The convention saw prominent voices sharing insights and perspectives on global unity, wisdom, and education’s transformative role. Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Former Union Minister of Education and Hon’ble Member of Parliament emphasized India’s historical leadership and its potential to lead the 21st century. KIIT School of Fashion Technology (KSOFT) orchestrated an enlightening “Subject Experts Engagement (SEE) Webinar Talk” on January 17, 2022, in partnership with Maitri Global Education, Italy, and renowned Academic & Industry Experts from esteemed European Design Universities and Institutes. The webinar’s focus was on “Creative Development Skills,” and it featured Mr. Eduardo Motta, Product Manager at Lotto International, Italy, as the keynote speaker.

During the session, Mr. Eduardo Motta delved into multifaceted aspects of Product Design, Development, Merchandising, and Marketing, with a particular emphasis on footwear. He provided invaluable insights into the technical intricacies of footwear production, encompassing design perfection, prototype development, marketing strategies, cost management, and sales analysis. Prof. Farantene Raffaele, Project Leader at Adidas, Italy, further enriched the webinar with insights into Marketing and Product Design, aligned with customer preferences and market trends.

Partnership with University of Malaga (Spain) to foster academic and educational cooperation

On February 21, 2022, KIIT & KISS in Bhubaneswar solidified a meaningful partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Malaga (UMA) in Spain. This MoU is a testament to their shared commitment to fostering academic and educational cooperation. It primarily aims to nurture collaborative research initiatives, joint academic activities such as webinars, conferences, and workshops, and the publication of research findings.

In his address, Professor Deepak Kumar Behera of KISS, highlighted the significance of the MoU, emphasizing the exchange of academic, research, and administrative personnel, as well as collaborative research projects and training activities. MoU with John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for project - ‘Climate Change Communication, Community Empowerment, and Advocacy: Local Action for Global Impact’

KIIT & KISS and the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University, are exploring a potential partnership in the realm of ‘Climate Change Communication, Community Empowerment, and Advocacy: Local Action for Global Impact’. Professor Rajiv Rimal from Johns Hopkins recently held discussions with Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Vice-Chancellor of KIIT & KISS, and other officials on April 16, 2022. Professor Rimal is engaged in a climate change project funded by the National Science Foundation of the US. KIIT to Become Knowledge and Logistical Hub of FIFA’s ‘Football for School’ Initiative

FIFA, the global Football Governing Body, has solidified its collaboration, aiming to bolster the ‘Football for School’ program in Odisha and expand its reach across India and South Asia. A letter of intent was signed between FIFA Foundation CEO Youri Djorkaeff and KIIT & KISS Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta. Awarded the Prestigious UNESCO International Literacy Prize 2022

The UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize is sponsored by the Government of the Republic of Korea and recognizes contributions to mother language-based literacy development. KIIT & KISS has received the award in the category of ‘Mother Tongue Based Multilingual Education’ programme’. The award was presented at a global award ceremony organized by UNESCO in Côte d’Ivoire on 8 and 9 September 2022 to celebrate International Literacy Day. The programme aims to tackle the challenges of poor retention of indigenous students in elementary schools due to classroom language barriers and teachers’ incapacity to deal with multilingual and multicultural classrooms effectively.

KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) and AI Convergence College & Institute of Digital Anti-aging Healthcare, Inje University, Republic of Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on various aspects of academic and research on 26th September 2022 on virtual platform. Kalinga-Stockholm Centre for Excellence in International Affairs inaugurated at KIIT

The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS)  launched Kalinga-Stockholm Centre for Excellence in International Affairs, in an impressive inaugural ceremony at KIIT & KISS premises on 17th October 2022. The Centre, established in close collaboration with the Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP), Stockholm, will work towards drawing principles from indigenous perspectives to address contemporary policy challenges in the Indo-Pacific region, with regard to biodiversity and climate change. The Centre for American Studies, KIIT now hosts a newly unveiled SDG centre, featuring a full wall panel of the UN’s 17 SDGs as a visual reminder of the University’s commitment to work on the transformation of the world in keeping with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Bar Council of India to set-up Indian Institute of Law (IIL) at Bhubaneswar in collaboration with KIIT

In a significant development, the Bar Council of India through BCI Trust is going to set-up the Indian Institute of Law (IIL) in collaboration with KIIT ((Deemed to be University)) in Bhubaneswar with an aim to train the Law Teachers and Lawyers/Advocates of the country. It is for the first time that a Statutory Body has come forward to tie-up with any self-funded organization for establishment of a national level institute like IIM. KIIT International e-Model United Nations (8th edition of KIIT International e-Model United Nations) was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Roger Gopaul, High Commissioner of Republic of Trinidad & Tobago to India in the presence of Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT ((Deemed to be University)) Bhubaneswar, Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, the honourable Registrar and other dignitaries on 29th January 2021. The event was organized by KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC).

The first day of the conference featured Intergovernmental Processes, UN Women and Motivating Discourse. The day proceeded with sessions in the various committees of the e-Model United Nations, such as DISEC, UNHRC, WHA, SPECPOL, ECOSOC, UNPBC, UNFCCC, UN-WOMEN, UNSC and HCC. A total of about 600 national and international participants connected from majority of European and Asian nations.

Statewide UGC Paramarsh Workshop Starts at KIIT

As a part of its continuous efforts of serving the needs of the society at large, KIIT has lent its hands to the ‘UGC- Paramarsh’ program. The objective of the program was to enhance the overall quality of the mentee institutions and mentoring the non-accredited Higher Education Institutions to enable them to get accredited. Being an organization, which earned the tag of ‘Institution of Eminence’ (IoE) for its’ quality and value system in imparting world-class education, it is obvious that there could not be any better option than KIIT in partnering UGC in this program. Under the Paramarsh program, KIIT is supposed to mentor five institutions. Carrying on its legacy successfully and the benevolent decision taken by its Founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta to spread the program statewide, KIIT has mentored more than twenty-five colleges and three universities till date. In the meantime, KIIT has successfully organized four workshops which have been attended by more than Principals and IQAC coordinators from colleges of different parts of Odisha. KIIT is also helping the already accredited institutions in improving their grade. Continuing this, on 12th February 2021, KIIT in collaboration with QAC, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada organized a two-day workshop, sponsored by NAAC. Prof. Asoka Kumar Das, Vice-Chairperson, Odisha State Higher Education Council graced the program as the Chief Guest and Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Pro-Vice Chancellor, KIIT ((Deemed to be University)) as the Guest of Honor. Prof. Kishore Kumar Basa, Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University chaired the program and suggested all the participating institutions to strive to get NAAC accreditation. Prof. Jayanta Kumar Parida, Director, KIIT School of Commerce & Economics and Prof. Ranjan Kumar Bal, Ex-Chairman, P. G. Council, Utkal University conducted the workshop. Coordinator of the KIIT Paramarsh, Prof. Parida, from his experiences of decades of being one of the members of accreditation committees of NAAC, enlightened the audience with various measures that can be taken by the institutions to ensure accreditation.

AICTE-ISTE Sponsored Induction/Refresher Programme on “Electric Vehicle and Smart Grid"

School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT (Deemed to be University) organized a six-day refresher Programme on “A Path Towards Sustainable Energy” from 17th to 23rd December 2021 (virtual mode). Speaking at the inaugural session, Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty said that researchers should solve real world problems through their research works. Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, emphasized collaborative research work and spoke on the importance of EV in future transportation systems. In his address, Prof. Byamakesh Nayak, Dean, School of Electrical Engineering, discussed the importance of refresher courses and briefed about the facilities available in the School.

Webinar on ICC Jurisprudence in the Cases of Iraq and Philippines, organized by School of Law, KIIT

School of Law KIIT organized a Webinar on ICC Jurisprudence in the cases of Iraq and Philippines on 30th October 2021. The lecture was focused on crimes over which ICC exercises jurisdiction and those are genocide, crimes against humanity under war crimes and crimes of aggression. The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Chiarini, (Doctoral Research Fellow at Insubria University) is an Attorney at Law admitted as Assistant to Counsel (Conseils Adjoints) at the International Criminal Court, The Hague. He shed light on the constituting elements of genocide. Subsequently distinctions between genocide and crimes against humanity and war crimes and crimes of aggression were also explained. The session focused on how the office of the prosecutor works and how the external lawyer gets the materials and evidence to present in the court and what are the reasonableness of evidence and examination of the investigation.

KIIT Organizes UGC- PARAMARSH Workshop in Collaboration with Rama Devi Women's University

State-level Capacity Building Workshop on National Multisectoral Action Plan for Prevention & Control of Non-Communicable Diseases

Considering the rising trend of the Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and its risk factors which require interventions from multiple sectors, Govt. of India has prepared National Multi-sectoral Action Plan (NMAP) for prevention and control of NCDs involving several non-health sectors. In this context, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, in collaboration with School of Public Health, KIIT (Deemed to be University), Jagadguru Kripalu University and World Health Organization (WHO) India Office, organizeda capacity building workshop for NMAP nodal officers for the Odisha State on September 22-24, 2021. The aim of the workshop was to strengthen multisectoral actions in Odisha by operationalizing the existing National Multi-sectoral Action Plans (MSAP).

This was the 2nd lecture in the Series related to Social Sciences organized at KLS on a specific topic of contemporary relevance. School of Applied Sciences, KIIT-DU organized the first Water Technology Research Lecture on 19th August 2021 on virtual platform in collaboration with Waste Water Innovations, South Africa. The title of the lecture was “Nanocomposite materials for waste water remediations”. In his lecture, Prof. Mishra discussed the worldwide problem of water pollution and its consequences. He focused on the role of nanotechnology for addressing the issue.
