Established in 2007, School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University ministers to the University-wide needs of English and foreign language learning of students. It provides short-term value addition and skill development courses in Communication Skills, Personality Development, Public Speaking, Business Communication, and Spoken English. Besides providing translation services, it also offers training, of foundational nature, in major European and Asian languages.
KIIT School of Languages (KSOL) imparts value-based education in the area of globally recognized languages so that career-aspirants may have the necessary language skill sets. Language proficiency facilitates them in having careers in Multinational Companies (MNCs), UN Missions, Embassies, NGOs, BPOs and Technical Start-Ups. It also helps in studying abroad for higher education.

KIIT-TBI Fab Lab is going to be a network platform for makers, inventors, artists, researcher, entrepreneurs and creative people who are willing to exchange knowledge, ideas and technology to collectively empower people of all age, diverse backgrounds and abilities to experiment and invent (almost) anything to solve real-world problems at local, national, and global levels; thereby creating opportunities to improve lives and livelihoods.
The Fab Academy teaches principles and applications of digital fabrication. It was developed to teach hands-on skills in fab labs, which began as an outreach project from MIT’s Center for Bits and Atoms, and has grown into a global network of more than 500 labs. Fab Academy instruction is based on MIT’s popular rapid-prototyping course How To Make (almost) Anything, both taught by Prof. Neil Gershenfeld. It offers a distributed rather than distance educational model: students learn in local workgroups, with peers, mentors, and machines, which are then connected globally by content sharing and video for interactive classes.
The Fab Academy is a fast paced, hands-on learning experience where students take part in various programs offered under Fab Academy.
